Having a systematic process in place for our agents is a cornerstone to our success. Our system is designed to streamline the workflow of our agents which allows them to focus on activities that utilize the highest and best use of their time. Our systems are second to none and help you create the ultimate home buying/selling experience for your clients.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Consults with clients to understand their real estate needs.

  • Gathers, provides, and explains details of current market conditions, pricing, legal requirements, and similar information.

  • Assists selling clients with pricing based on current market values.

  • Assists clients with staging properties for sale; hosts open houses and other promotional events.

  • Assists purchasing clients with identifying properties that meet their needs based on location, size, price, amenities, and other characteristics.

  • Shows properties to clients, answering (or finding answers to) questions about the property.

  • Assists clients (buying and selling) with the offer process, coordinating offers and counteroffers with the other party’s agents.

  • Ensures that terms and conditions of purchase agreements such as loans, home inspections, and pest inspections are met before closing dates.

  • Ensures that paperwork is completed accurately and on time; corrects any errors or omissions.

  • Coordinates activities required for property closing including document signing and fund disbursement.

  • Maintains knowledge of the housing market, anticipated developments, school performance, and other matters of client interest and concern.

  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with attorneys, mortgage lenders, and contractors to whom clients may be referred.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Thorough understanding of the real estate market and the laws, regulations, and best practices involved in real estate transactions.

  • Proficient with Google Suite or related software.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid Virginia, DC, or Maryland real estate agent license required.

  • Optional to have your own inventory and/or clients.

  • Reach team benchmarks of closing a minimum of 1 deal per month during the first year on the team.  

  • Must be available to attend in-person team meetings 2-4 times per month.

Commitment:

  • This is an independent contractor role. You will be the owner of your own business and be responsible for your taxes. This is for serious real estate agents who are looking for a full-time commitment or willing to go full-time within 6-months.
